Please call for an appointment to enter the Sunnyvale Pecan orchard; Cost (several years ago) was $1.25 per pound for back orchard and 1.35 for front orchard; SPO will be subject to supply and demand for product, please call before entering. Please note, all pecans are from our previous year's crop prior to October 30. Cracking Available at $0.35 cents per pound for SPO's orchards and $0.40 cents per pound for pecans brought in outside the SPO's network.

Directions: From Denton and other points South: Take I-35 North and then take the Sanger/Pilot Point exit #478. At the light, turn left onto Chapman Drive (FM 455) and proceed West for 2.1 miles. Turn left (South) onto Sam Bass Road and go 0.7 miles. Take another left (East) onto Duck Creek Road and go 0.5 miles. Turn right into the Farm and follow the signs. From points North of Sanger: Follow I-35 and take the Sanger Exit #478. Turn right and follow FM 455 in a similar manner as described above. And for a map to our farm, click here. Crops are usually available in June, July. Open: We will be open for pick-your-own berries Tuesdays from 6 to 8 PM and Saturdays from 7 to Noon; Check farm website for availability. Pre-picked berries will also be available upon request (a small picking fee will apply). Pick-your-own blackberries are $15 dollars per gallon. We provide the picking buckets and a bag to carry them home in. Pre-picked berries are available on a limited basis; a picking fee will apply. Consider bringing an ice chest if you have a long drive home. We anticipate the Blackberries to be ripe the last of May or the first of June. Call for more information. Payment: Cash, Check. Christmas in the Country provides lots of free activities for the kids including mazes, haystacks, sleigh-hay rides and much more.
